Please note the following details about your event:
You’ll have full access to the party room and kitchenette area (fridge/freezer, sink, counter space, cupboards), as well as up to 10 folding tables, chairs, and a popcorn machine (complete with popcorn making supplies and bowls)! *Please note, coconut oil is used for the popcorn. If you would like to omit the popcorn due to an allergy or another reason, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You’re welcome to bring food and drinks! If doing so, please also bring plates, silverware and anything else you might need as they are not provided. Looking for a fun goodie bag idea? You and your guests can start arriving up to 15 minutes early for setup. However, to reduce setup time and cost on your end, the room is already decorated rainforest-style!
Please enter through the black double doors facing Century Ave. They are marked with a “Party and Private Event Entrance” sign.
Typically, the first hour of private events is spent learning about and handling reptiles during an educational program given by a zookeeper. The second half of the event is spent exploring our reptile zoo, then returning back to the room for food, cake, and presents. However you’re welcome to rearrange these activities however you wish! Just let the zookeeper know upon arrival so they can plan accordingly. After your event, you’re welcome to continue exploring our zoo until the building closes at 8pm.
We ask private groups to clean up after themselves. However, we don’t want you to feel rushed during the party! So, hosts are welcome to stay up to 30 minutes after their time block to tidy up the room (throw away your garbage, wipe down the counter, clean popcorn bowls if used, etc.). The cleaning deposit you paid will be refunded after leaving assuming excessive messes aren’t left behind.
