Book your next birthday party or celebration at the snake discovery zoo! Our classroom is available for birthday parties and private events, which includes an educational program performed by one of our zookeepers AND admission to our reptile zoo for your entire group!
Enjoy a 2-hour block in our classroom to host your party! First, you’ll enjoy a 30-minute hands-on reptile program given by one of our zookeepers, during which the birthday boy/girl (or person of honor) gets to be our “helper” when feeding the animals. Then, enjoy 15 minutes of “Reptile Handling Time”- This is the perfect time to take pictures holding lizards and snakes like our large boa constrictor! Next, attendees will have 30 minutes to explore our entire reptile zoo, and the remaining time you’re welcome to use as you wish. We suggest saving 15 minutes for presents and 15 minutes for food/cake.
Does your kiddo want a memorable and hands-on experience at Snake Discovery? Book a Private Experience in our party room! Private Experiences are for groups of less than 5 people, but can be for as many as 10. You’ll have 2 hours in the classroom to enjoy a 30-minute hands-on program given by one of our zookeepers, 15 minutes of “Reptile Handling Time”, zoo exploration time, and finally some free time at the end to use however you’d like (most groups bring a snack and/or lunch to enjoy at this time, while others just utilize the extra time in the zoo)! Unlike our birthday parties, Private Experiences allow for more hands-on time with the reptiles since group sizes are typically smaller.
Price (for both packages): $249 for up to 20 people (kids and adults)

Amenities: Full access to a kitchenette (fridge/freezer, sink, microwave, cabinets), tables with tablecloths, chairs, garbage/recycling, a handwashing station, and complimentary popcorn.
Note: We ask private groups to clean up after themselves. However, we don’t want you to feel rushed during the party! So, hosts are welcome to stay up to 30 minutes after their time block to tidy up the room (sweep any large messes, wipe down the counter if needed, etc.). A refundable cleaning deposit is required for excessive messes that require deep cleaning after the hosts leave.
Cancellation Policy: To avoid additional charges, we require at least 14 days advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your party. If you reschedule your party within 7-14 days of the event, there will be a $100 convenience fee to be paid at the time of rescheduling. If you cancel/change your event within 6 days of your party date, you will be responsible for 100% of the total party price.
